BUSH IN EUROPE FROM JUNE 9 TO 16
***********************************
He will visit Germany, France, Italy, the Holy Sea, United Kingdom.
His motto will be all watered by transtlantism relations.
So confirms that for June, only week is possible.

Bush and his missus start their tour straight after Bilderberg finishes, as you might expect, at the Nazi 'New World Order' European control centre.

Absolutely. Looking forward to having 50,000 of us show up. Or...Jim and Alex and me and whoever else decides to show up.

Here's the venue, courtesy of Google - going this afternoon to get some on the ground footage of the two entrances and see if the adjacent properties may hold some decent vantage point for photos.

Oddly enough, I can't locate the property plat for that address anywhere - be helpful to know private vs public property when dealing with the goons.

Check out http://www.zillow.com/HomeDetails.htm?zprop=59787380 which displays the Chantilly property market value (US$52.7M), lot size (27 acres), etc.

Clicking on "See Larger Bird's Eye View"

http://www.zillow.com/aerial/DualMapPage.htm?zpid=59787380

returns angled close-ups looking north, south, east or west.

Adjoining to the south is a public park - Flatlick Stream Valley Park. The Chantilly National Golf and Country Club is nearby to the southwest.

Dear Mobius,

Thanks for the info and the map about the location ! Wink

I don't want to sound pessimistic, but if there are 500 demonstrators, I think you'll have to be very happy. Confused

That's if the event really occurs in Chantilly, of course. Shocked Right now, we have a booked hotel in Chantilly. We also had a booked hotel in Athens (Vouliameni). We have a statement from the Dutch embassy in the USA. We also had an article in some greek newspaper... Confused

So, being very careful, I'd say that we still have no valid proof whatsoever that the Bilderberg meeting will take place in Chantilly. Sad

This year, they really did their utmost to conceal everything as well and as long as possible. Seems a bit extreme for just a "liberal discussion", doesn't it ? Rolling Eyes It is all very clear, now : they have horrible things to say and to hide in order to be surrounded in such antidemocratic secrecy. Exclamation

The info is really hard to find, this year.

Does anyone have any news about the presence (or absence) of well-known Bilderberg members in the USA for the week of the 5th to 8th of June ? Question

Vic.

If 500 show up, I hope they FILL up first! $4.12 for regular at the closest gas station across the street!

Taking pictures is gonna be a bear.

Summary:

1. Always wash your windows before you go to do something like this. Lesson learned. :-)
2. Tags indicate where the delivery entrance is blocked off - otherwise you could drive down the delivery entrance to general parking.
3. Alternate entrance on right side was completely blocked off physically with Marriott trucks.
4. Entrance on Conference Center drive almost "has" to be a public thoroughfare, because to block it off at the cross street would prevent access to #14800. Certainly they'll block off Conference Center Drive.

Either way I think our other posters were right: in order to get a glimpse of anyone going inside based on where we're guessing they'll block us off, you'll have to do a little crawling through the woods...and my bet is that there'll be a few folks well placed to watch that, too.

After the amateur video taping (and I'm sure if you look up *Amateur* Video in Google, they've already linked to these files - I need practice), I actually went in and asked to speak to their Director of Security.

A gentleman named 'Mark' told me they were not able to disclose anything about any function ever. When pressed, he admitted it was a rule which had been implemented about 6 weeks ago. I then asked him, theoretically, if there were a high profile event taking place, where they would like the press to assemble. With a straight face that I'd never want to see across a poker game, he said, "Fair Oaks Mall".

Without googling it I know that's at least 5-10 miles away if not further. Funny guy.

Anyway, it's all there along with some snapshots if you're interested in seeing it. http://www.globalinformers.com/bb2k8.htm

Speech
Ministry for Foreign Affairs 29 May 2008
Carl Bildt, Minister for Foreign Affairs

National statement by Sweden, International Compact with Iraq - Annual Review Conference in Stockholm
Check against delivery

Secretary General, Prime Minister, Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen.

First of all, let me thank the Government of Iraq for the Annual Review Report presented to us prior to this conference. This report provides evidence of the progress achieved since the launch of the International Compact with Iraq last year. It also highlights the efforts of the United Nations to advise, support and assist the Government and people of Iraq.

Without progress in the field of security, fair and sustainable development will not be possible. We note significant progress compared with the situation a year ago. A more stable Iraq is gradually emerging. But the fruits of progress must benefit all Iraqis - irrespectively of religious beliefs or national identity. Justice and the rule of law must be extended to all.

Increased respect for human rights is a precondition for sustainable security and development. The obligation of the Government and authorities at federal, provincial and local level to ensure that all Iraqis can enjoy their human rights should guide efforts in all areas.

While welcoming the economic progress outlined in the Review Report, we note that much remains to be done to ensure that all Iraqis, including those who have been forced to leave their homes, have access to acceptable living conditions. Sweden will continue to support the international efforts to give humanitarian assistance to the displaced, but the main responsibility for improving the situation lies with the Government of Iraq. The decision by the Government of Iraq to provide economic support to IDPs and refugees is indeed a welcome step.

Political progress has been achieved, as shown by important legislation adopted during the past year. We hope that this momentum will continue and that efforts to find compromises on other pressing issues will be intensified. Without true reconciliation and broadly based political compromises, achievements already made may not hold, and priorities and plans for the future may come to nothing. Therefore, no efforts must be spared in the work to strengthen and accelerate the political process.

Iraq has indeed achieved a lot during the past year, but we all know the road ahead remains long and difficult, as underlined in the Review Report. Continued support by the international community is therefore of crucial importance. In this context, a strengthened role for the United Nations in Iraq is essential. We look forward to continued significant progress and to a meeting in Baghdad next year.

Hi Marek,

OECD Forum 2008 adjourns Thursday afternoon June 4. Plenty of time for Lamy, de Rato, and Trichet to fly to Dulles from de Gaulle.

http://www.oecd.org/document/34/0,3343,en_21571361_39644413_40272610_1_1_1_1,00.html

-------

The UN will hold a High Level Summit on World Food Security June 3-5 in Rome. Pope Benedict, UN head Ki-moon, Italian President Napolitano, and unnamed heads of state will attend. No Bilderbergers are mentioned.

http://www.fao.org/fileadmin/user_upload/foodclimate/HLCdocs/HLC08-2-E.pdf

Following Bilderberg's orders, Barack Obama has sponsored legislation in the US Senate, the Global Poverty Act, that would transfer 0.7% of US Gross Domestic Product to the corrupt UN supposedly to be distributed to the world's poor.

-------

The following is from Jim Tucker's latest AFP On-line Newsletter

This year AFP will be offering more than just written reports. We will be shooting video and posting it to our site beginning on Friday, June 6. I will also offer on-the-scene reports, which will be posted to AmericanFreePress.net. So be sure to check out our site for the latest news.

If you would like to learn more about this shadowy group, see our official Bilderberg page.

If you live in the Virginia area and would like to attend my Bilderberg Welcoming Party on Friday June 6, call me at (202) 544-5977.

Once confirmed that Bilderberg is in session, suggest contacting big media encouraging them to report on it. In both 2006 and 2007, I posted new tips to http://www.DrudgeReport.com, the popular US breaking news web site. In 2006 (but not 2007) Drudge reported it (see World's who's who hold secret talks in Ottawa... in red on right side of):

The IMF and Civil Society

Civil Society organizations discuss food price policy with IMF MD Strauss-Kahn and WB President Zoellick

IMF and Civil Society Discuss the Global Food Crisis
May 29, 2008

At a May 23 video conference, IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn and WB President Robert Zoellick consulted with civil society organizations (CSOs) from Africa, North and South America, Asia, and Europe to identify priorities for addressing the world's food crisis.
The video conference, held at the World Bank's headquarters in Washington, D.C. was convened by the World Bank President and chaired by Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, its Managing Director. David Nabarro, UN Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Coordinator of the UN Task Force on the Global Food Security Crisis, and Anne Veneman, Executive Director of UNICEF, also participated.

Robert Zoellick said that CSOs have an absolutely critical role to play, given their presence in the field, their role in food distribution and their advocacy work. He called the issues of malnutrition the "forgotten Millennium Development Goal".

He also highlighted the call for addressing:

the financial the needs of the World Food Programme (WFP);
the interagency work on country needs assessments;
the issue of helping small farmers (in the short term but also looking at food price volatility in the long run);
long-term challenges of production and productivity;
the overlooked research agenda;
the need for risk management solutions (such as drought derivatives).
Strauss-Kahn told representatives of more than 30 CSOs that some countries affected by the crisis are taking sensible steps to cushion the impact and improve agricultural output, but cautioned countries against adopting policies which might have long-term negative consequences. Read more about Strauss-Kahn's advice (May 23, 2008)

CSO Response

During his remarks at the videoconference, Strauss-Kahn (left) encouraged CSOs to share their views and ideas.
Many CSOs, which included InterAction, Catholic Relief Services, and Bread for the World, applauded the initiative to consult with civil society this early in the process (and also raising the issue so prominently in April). Comments focused on collaboration and coordination.

Representatives reacted positively to the dialogue and asked for a replication at the country level to include farmers in the process. There were concrete suggestions, for example: applying the models for "International Health Partnership" or "Fast Track Initiative for Education" to agriculture.

CSOs also pointed out that coming up with constructive suggestions and trying to find joint solutions for complex problems is crucial, and that all efforts should focus to turn these new challenges into opportunities. They agreed that it is very useful to have all country information available on external websites.

Other food policies and programs

Zoellick also talked about the fast track "Global Food Crisis Response Program" which the Bank is working on, especially concerning the most vulnerable countries, and addressed the policy issues of export barriers, energy and food linkages (sugar-based biofuels don't have the same impact on food prices as other crops), and the Doha round of trade negotiations.

He also listed the upcoming major events, including the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD), the High-Level Conference on World Food Security in Rome on June 3–5, and the G7 and G8 meetings, saying that these were major opportunities to move forward on the issue. He asked CSOs to help raise the profile of the WFP, share assessments on the ground with all agencies, and give input on the key policy issues affecting food prices.
