The G8 will be held June 4-5 in Sochi Russia, venue of the Winter Olympics. The G8 is usually held at least two weeks after Bilderberg. In 1998, 2011, and 2012 it was held two weeks prior. An exception was 2007, when the G8 was held in Germany only 2 days after the Istanbul meeting. Another was 2004 when the G8 was held in the USA only 2 days after the Italy meeting. The Trilaterals have yet to announce their date and venue, but it's Europe's turn this year.
Based on these observations, a reasonable conjecture is that this year's meeting will be held in Europe on the May 30 weekend or several weekends prior. But where in Europe? Perhaps in Benelux, Austria, or Scandanavia? The Steering Committee has some new Scandinavian members. |

Bilderberg Hunt Begins
• Sweden’s Free Party the first to formally oppose annual meeting of top kleptocrats

As Bilderberg season heats up for 2014, the popular new Free Party in Sweden has become the country’s first political entity to formally oppose the highly secretive annual Bilderberg meetings, as the elite gatherings of the rich and powerful are officially called.
Bilderberg started 60 years ago in the Netherlands.
The first meeting in 1954 was held inside the Hotel de Bilderberg, thereby establishing the group’s name. For those just learning about this shadowy cabal, the mere existence of the group offers proofpositive that unofficial private influence operates behind the thrones of nations to strongly—and undemocratically—determine their destinies.
In 2013 in Watford, England, two leading members of the budding Free Party showed up on the spacious grounds of the storied Grove Hotel to
protest the Bilderberg gathering inside. The Free Party was in its infancy then. But as of February 2014, there were about 400 members overall.
“The other [parties] are controlled-opposition financed by the Swedish oligarchs,” chief Free Party spokesman Bo Erik Jonsson of Stockholm said in an exclusive interview with AFP on March 4. Jonsson has been examining how Bilderberg members and their brethren influence Swedish politics and the politics of other individual nations.
Even a casual perusal soon reveals the ways in which Bilderberg members network and carefully ply their trade—toward personal and corporate profits, political power and global consolidation.
Jonsson noted that in 2006, then-Swedish parliament member Friedrik Reinfeldt attended a Bilderbergmeeting.
Because hewas a relatively young rising star in Swedish politics, Jonsson noted that billionaire Jacob Wallenberg and veteran Bilderberger Henry Kissinger sought to “assist” Reinfeldt.
The apparent idea was to bring Reinfeldt together with longtime Trilateral Commission member and Swedish Bilderberger Carl Bildt. Bildt was Sweden’s prime minister in the 1990s.
Jonsson, based on his ongoing research, believes that the careful interactions between Wallenberg,
Bildt, Kissinger and Reinfeldt helped catapult Reinfeldt into the prime minister’s seat that he holds to this day.
Swede Jonas Bonnier of the huge Bonnier AB conglomerate attended the Bilderberg meeting in 2012 in Chantilly, Va., which was the last meeting this writer covered with AFP’s late, great Bilderberg hound, James P. Tucker Jr.
Bonnier AB is a privately held Swedish media group of 175 companies operating in 20 countries.
It is controlled by the Bonnier family. The media group runs everything from book publishing, to newspapers, film production companies and magazines.
